BIGS Grading Scores for Player Profiles
Player profile reports provide organizations a plethora of information compiled by BIGS. These profiles provide a summarized overview of a player’s ability. It includes a current MLB score as well as future value scores for the MLB, NPB, KBO, and CPBL. These scores are predictions of a player’s production based on if he were on an average (.500 win PCT team) in that league.
20 = Low-level minor league player unlikely to play at the highest level
30 = Upper-level minor league player who provides little or no value at the highest level
40 = Reserve player at the highest level; a position player is likely to be a bench/role player & a pitcher is likely to be a long reliever or swing-man
50 = Everyday starter at the highest level; a position player is likely to hit in the 6 or 7 spot in the lineup & a pitcher is likely to be a #5 starter or a quality reliever
60 = Impact/all-star level player; a position player would be a top or middle of the lineup hitter with defensive value & a pitcher would be a front line starter or a setup man/closer
70 = Superstar-level player; likely to be Hall of Famers and/or have their numbers retired by their teams
80 = The greatest players to ever play the game
Tools and pitch scores for player profiles are based on the player’s ability at the MLB Level currently.

50 = Average tool/pitch at the MLB Level
60 = Plus tool/pitch at the MLB Level
70 = Elite tool/pitch at the MLB Level
80 = The best tool/pitch at the MLB Level
BIGS Evaluation Score for Game Reports
Game reports are evaluations written during a single game or a series of games and are a description of what the scout in attendance saw on that day or during that series. The game report scores are based on the player’s performance in relation to an average MLB player on an average (.500 win percentage) team during that game or series.
20 = The worst tool/pitch at the MLB Level
30 = Well below average tool/pitch at the MLB Level
40 = Below average Tool/Pitch at the MLB Level
50 = Average tool/pitch at the MLB Level
60 = Plus tool/pitch at the MLB Level
70 = Elite tool/pitch at the MLB Level
80 = The best tool/pitch at the MLB Level
